2008 Midget A2 - Leukemia awarness

The North Delta Hawks - Midget A2 traveled to Victoria for the 10th annual Matt Underwood Memorial Midget Lacrosse Tournament June 6th, 7th, and 8th in Victoria. This tournament was held in honor of Matt Underwood a longtime Victoria lacrosse player who lost his battle with Myeloid Leukemia at the age of 25. The Midget team gave a donation to help continue what Matt started during his illness, helping raise awareness of the bone marrow donor registry. In support of this event every single player on the A2 team, the coaches, and even one brave dad shaved their heads to show their support.
