Children's Fitness Tax Credit
The Government of Canada Children's Fitness Tax Credit came into effect January 1, 2007. It is a non-refundable tax credit on eligible amounts of up to $500 paid by parents to register a child under the age of 16 in an eligible program of physical activity. Tax receipts will be distributed via your manager once the season is underway.
The KidSport™ Fund
The KidSport™ Fund is a program of Sport BC designed to "remove the financial obstacles that prevent underprivileged children from playing sport in British Columbia". Each child aged 6 - 18 who applies is eligible for up to $200 for one season of sport.

Let Kids Play

We are a charity with the objective of placing low-income and disadvantaged youth into organized sporting programs.
If you know of any families or youth who cannot afford to participate in your league, please pass on our information to them. Our website is online at www.letkidsplay.ca and application information is available online. A child or family can apply to have the costs of their season of sport covered by LKP, provided that they meet the requirements of the application and demonstrate financial need.
